About the Photographer Resource Collective

Built on Community, Not Commissions.

The Photographer Resource Collective was created to offer a trusted alternative to traditional paid directories and ad-driven platforms. Listings are not ranked by payment, and placement is not sold. Instead, this site is curated with care — prioritizing real working creatives, practical resources, and community-informed contributions.

The PRC was built to remain independent, thoughtfully organized, and grounded in community contribution. The goal isn’t to become the largest directory — but to remain a useful and trusted one.

Community Over Commissions

The PRC is not built on paid placements or ranking systems.

Visibility isn’t sold or influenced by advertising tiers — allowing listings to remain grounded in contribution, relevance, and integrity.

Real-World Experience

This platform reflects real-world standards — from portfolio development to professional service expectations — supporting photographers at different stages while helping clients make informed, confident decisions.

Thoughtfully Curated

Listings and submissions are reviewed with care to maintain clarity, usefulness, and adherence to professional standards.

Growth matters — but not at the expense of trust or long-term credibility.

How the PRC is Different

The PRC prioritizes long-term trust over short-term exposure — supporting both creatives and the community in a more transparent way.

Created by a Working Creative

The Photographer Resource Collective was founded by Molly Bermea, a working commercial photographer based in Southern Oregon.

After more than a decade in the industry, Molly has seen firsthand how visibility, referrals, and online platforms can influence both creative careers and client expectations. The PRC was created as a response to that experience — offering a more thoughtful, community-centered alternative to traditional directories.

Rather than prioritizing paid placement or advertising tiers, Molly designed the PRC to remain independent, curated, and grounded in real-world professional standards.

This platform reflects her belief that trust, clarity, and long-term credibility matter more than rapid growth or transactional exposure.
